  • Lavender 'Hidcote Blue' completes an outdoor paradise with fragrant splendor. Mounds of deep purple flower spikes reach up to 2' tall and bloom in late spring and summer. Silver green foliage will remain bushy and attractive if the plant is trimmed back yearly after blooming. Often, you will get a second bloom given the right conditions! Lavender 'Hidcote Blue' is considered either a perennial or small shrub and grows in an attractive mound. Planted in mass, they look and smell fabulous on a hillside or border.

  • Shipping Methods

Orders will be shipped via FedEx Home Delivery.

Orders are generally in route for 2-5 business days (depending on where you live).

We are sticklers about packaging and shipping your order in a way that guarantees healthy plants upon arrival. If plants are damaged on arrival, just let us know and we'll send you new ones or offer a full refund.

All of our plants are container grown and shipped with the soil and roots fully intact. We DO NOT ship your plants bare-root. Being shipped as a containered plant greatly reduces the risk of the plant not surviving the transit to your home.

Did it go dormant?

It looks dead. I planted it in a pot with lots of good drainage, ???? Maybe it will come back in the spring?

Disappointed

I received dead plants

Alicia,

I'm sorry your Hidcote didn't survive shipping in the heat wave. I'm glad you emailed so we are able to send you replacement plants! :)

Hidicote Blue

This is a more fragile lavender than I am used to. The dry air sucked the moisture clean out of it, even tho I'd hardened it off. The plant arrived in beautiful condition- just the wrong time to plant. I'll try again in the fall.

Long Hot Summer

Lavender plant arrived looking parched and unfortunately died rather quickly. Great customer service provided a refund. I’ve ordered 10 plants from you and this was the only casualty!

Beautiful color

This plant arrived in fantastic condition. It was full, healthy, and had beautiful blue flowers on arrival. All of the plant’s I’ve ordered from The Greenhouse have arrived in peak condition and been transplanted with no set backs. I’ll Happily
continue to order from them.
