PLEASE NOTE: Plants shipped in early spring may arrive dormant. Deciduous perennials lose their leaves or foliage during winter and may appear "lifeless", but will burst out with new growth in spring!
Arp rosemary (Rosmarinus officinalis Arp) is an old favorite with two important characteristics that distinguish it from ordinary rosemary. First, it has a unique, upright growth habit so that it's always neat and second, it's more cold tolerant. There are even accounts of it overwintering successfully in zone 6 with a little protection. Evergreen and deliciously fragrant, rosemary is a great addition to cookery as well making a great hair rinse that makes dark hair extra glossy. And of course, you'll love the sky-blue flowers and the gorgeous evergreen foliage.

All of our plants are container grown and shipped with the soil and roots fully intact. We DO NOT ship your plants bare-root. Being shipped as a containered plant greatly reduces the risk of the plant not surviving the transit to your home.

Do you guarantee your plants?
Yes. If, in the rare case your plants are damaged upon arrival, just contact us within 7 days and a full refund or exchange will be issued for those plants.
Will this plant grow where I live?
The hardiness zones that each plant will grow in are listed in the plant details section. Please make sure that the plants are rated for the zone you live in. If you don't know what zone you are in, please check the zone map and zip code lookup tool above to find out.
If I order now, can I delay shipping for sometime in the future?
Sure. After placing your order, just send us an email with your order number and the date you would like your order delivered.
We promise to only send you healthy, well rooted plants. If, in the rare case your plants are damaged upon arrival, or you are not completely satisfied, contact us at hello@thegreenhousepnw.com right away and we’ll take care of it.
If your plant(s) were damaged on arrival, we will send out replacements to you immediately at no extra charge to you.
If that plant is no longer in stock, or you prefer to not receive a replacement, we will issue full refund for any damaged plants.
In some cases, we may simply request a photo of the damaged plant to verify condition of plant before we process replacement or refund.

The Greenhouse was a very welcome change after having a TERRIBLE experience of receiving dead plants and refusal to replace or reimburse them by the Wilson Bros Gardens. The seven 1-gallon pot Arp Rosemary plants I received from The Greenhouse last week all arrived healthy and are already showing new growth and greening as they thrive in our commercial sized planters in full sun. The Greenhouse staff was also responsive to my questions and they provided good helpful tips and instructions with the plants.

I have always had Rosemary Arp which in my zone stays over the winter. Here in Oklahoma we had a terrible storm with plunging temps and I lost it. Was unable to find it locally so appreciate that the Greenhouse had it and it is a very nice specimen. Larger than I thought it would be...

I ordered 5 plants and the driver left them at the roadside, instead of house. It was there 2 days and when I opened it, the plants appeared as though they were tossed around and about to die. I tried planting them, giving them water and fertilizer but they never sprung back to being healthy.
