DESCRIPTION

Barberry, Berberis 'Crimson Pygmy', is a wonderful plant that stays small and bright throughout the growing season. At a maximum height of 2' this diminutive shrub packs a large punch of color with deep red leaves that turn crimson in fall. The compact and mound habit lends it well for borders that clearly and beautifully define a space. There's nothing to stop you from planting Barberry Crimson Pygmy next to lighter toned broadleaf perennials in a garden bed. It will add lovely contrast by utilizing height, texture and color.

Crimson Pygmy Barberry Shrub

Thanks for a great order experience! Both barberry shrubs arrived in good shape with a deep red color to them. They were ordered to fill in a gap in a row of other mature, decades-old crimson barberries, so they have some catching up to do, but happy to have them thriving so far!
