The Pink Elf French Hydrangea (Hydrangea macrophylla Pia) is something special! Those of us who would love to grow hydrangeas but don't have much space will appreciate this dwarf hydrangea most, but just about anybody will fall in love with the blooms of this heritage cultivar. The vivid pink florets fade to white towards their centers creating a multicolored and intensely colorful effect against the big, green leaves. They'll be at their best in light shade, but they'll tolerate sun as long as they have enough water. Apart from pruning before the growing season, your hydrangea won't need too much attention.
