DESCRIPTION

Gaura is a Native North America wildflower that's easy to grow and adds whimsy, color and movement to your garden beds for you and pollinators to enjoy all summer long! Often called wand flower or butterfly flower, Gaura's butterfly shaped flowers produces nectar filled blooms that bees and butterflies will love. This deep rosey colored cultivar is truly unique and could be planted in groups or stand alone in a clump forming habit. Gaura produces long slender stems that flow in the wind, creating movement in your garden & a lovely floral display, blooming summer into fall. Despite their delicate looks, these plants can survive drought and extreme heat.

We absolutely love these plants. They are stunning when in full bloom and have a beautiful, whimsical look to them. As the flowering stems grow, they extend outward..like antennas and gracefully ‘wave’ in the wind. They love full sun and are very easy to care for.

I was apprehensive of purchasing plants online…but one of our existing Gaura plants (purchased at a local garden center) sadly didn’t make it through the winter. We couldn’t find them locally this year but found them here at The Greenhouse. The plants were very well packaged and arrived beautiful, healthy and damage-free. They are thriving in our flower bed.
