    DESCRIPTION

    Purple Dome Aster blooms later summer into fall with beautiful royal purple flowers with yellow eyes. This variety is a low growing perennial that would be gorgeous combined in mass plantings towards the front of your border with other asters or other cut flowers. Very low maintenance, attract butterflies & is deer resistant. Purple Dome Aster typically grows to be 18-24" tall and up to 3' wide in a mounding form with a profusion of flowers. This plant does best in full sun to partial shade. It prefers to grow in average to moist conditions, and shouldn't be allowed to dry out. Grows in zones 4-9.
