DESCRIPTION
Big Bang™ 'Mercury Rising' is a standout threadleaf coreopsis cultivar prized for its rich, wine-red blooms and long flowering season. From early summer into fall, it produces an abundance of daisy-like flowers with velvety burgundy petals and occasional golden or pink centers, creating a striking contrast against its fine, green foliage.
This variety grows 18 to 24 inches tall and wide, forming a bushy, mounded shape that works well in borders, pollinator gardens, and mass plantings. It is highly attractive to butterflies and bees while being deer-resistant and drought-tolerant once established.
