    DESCRIPTION

Olympian Fig is a cold-hardy, highly productive fig variety discovered in Washington State and well-suited for northern climates. It produces large, purple-skinned figs with rich, ruby-red flesh and an exceptionally sweet, berry-like flavor. The fruit is excellent for fresh eating and can also be used in preserves or drying.

This vigorous fig can grow 10 to 12 feet tall and wide in the ground, but is easily maintained at a smaller size with pruning or in containers. It begins producing at a young age and may yield two crops in longer growing seasons—a smaller breba crop in early summer followed by a larger main crop in late summer to fall. Olympian fruits on new wood and is self-fertile, making it reliable even in regions with winter dieback.

    Key Features:

    • Large purple fruit with sweet, berry-flavored red flesh

    • Begins fruiting early, often in its first or second year

    • Cold-hardy to USDA Zone 6

    • Vigorous habit: 10–12 ft. tall and wide (smaller with pruning or containers)

    • Produces breba and main crops in warm seasons

    • Self-fertile and fruits on new wood

    SHIPPING DETAILS

    Shipping Methods

Orders will be shipped via either UPS Ground or FedEx Home Delivery.

Orders are generally in route for 2-5 business days (depending on where you live).

We are sticklers about packaging and shipping your order in a way that guarantees healthy plants upon arrival. If plants are damaged on arrival, just let us know and we'll send you new ones or offer a full refund.

All of our plants are container grown and shipped with the soil and roots fully intact. We DO NOT ship your plants bare-root. Being shipped as a containered plant greatly reduces the risk of the plant not surviving the transit to your home.
