DESCRIPTION
I love growing plants that return year after year and can replace annuals we love. I chose False Indigo because of it’s pea shaped flowers that resemble sweet peas & lupine. This shrub grows into a large bush with truly beautiful blue/green foliage and spikes of indigo flowers that the pollinators adore! Give it time while the roots establish underground and be rewarded with stunning displays of flowers for years to come. I hope to use the flowers to play with as a dye with the girls! The plant's botanical name comes from the Greek word bapto, which means "to dye" or "immerse".
