    DESCRIPTION

Belinda's Dream is a rose with a well-deserved following in the South, where its exceptional heat tolerance and disease resistance set it firmly apart from roses that struggle in hot, humid climates. The large, fully double blooms are a warm, medium pink with a classic cupped, old-garden rose form and a pleasant, moderately strong fragrance — everything you want from a traditional rose without the high-maintenance reputation that puts many gardeners off growing them.

Developed at Texas A&M University and an Earth-Kind® certified rose, Belinda's Dream has been rigorously tested for its ability to perform with minimal inputs — less water, less fertilizer, and fewer pesticide applications than conventional roses typically require. The result is a robust, vigorous shrub that blooms prolifically in spring and fall with a reasonable mid-summer showing even in significant heat, maintains attractive foliage with excellent black spot resistance, and simply gets on with the job of being a beautiful, reliable garden rose without constant intervention.

    Highlights:

    • Large, fully double warm pink blooms with classic cupped, old-garden rose form
    • Pleasant, moderately strong fragrance
    • Exceptional heat and humidity tolerance — an outstanding choice for southern gardens
    • Earth-Kind® certified — proven performance with significantly reduced inputs
    • Excellent black spot and disease resistance
    • Reliable repeat bloomer with strong spring and fall flushes
    • Vigorous, robust shrub that improves with age
    • Good cut flower with excellent vase life

    WHY CHOOSE OWN-ROOT ROSES?

Stronger, more resilient plants – Own-root roses are grown from cuttings, so they develop their own natural root system, resulting in better overall vigor and longevity.

True to type – Since they aren’t grafted, what you see is what you get—no risk of rootstock suckers overtaking the plant or altering bloom characteristics.

Better cold and disease resistance – Own-root roses recover more easily from winter damage and tend to be more resistant to pests, diseases, and transplant shock.
