DESCRIPTION
Echinacea ‘Mellow Yellows’ is a cheerful and dependable coneflower variety offering a soft, sunset-inspired color range. Blooms vary from buttery yellow and soft gold to creamy white and pale apricot—sometimes all on the same plant. Flowers are large and daisy-like, with prominent cones and gently drooping petals, appearing from early summer through fall.
This perennial grows 18 to 24 inches tall and 18 inches wide, with a sturdy, upright habit that works well in borders, pollinator gardens, and meadow-style plantings. Like other coneflowers, Mellow Yellows is drought-tolerant once established, attracts bees and butterflies, and produces seed heads that birds enjoy in fall and winter.
