DESCRIPTION

Dianthus Scent First® Tickled Pink flowers a vibrant pink hue with a wonderful scent atop a neat mound of silvery green foliage. This series was the recipient of the Royal Horticultural Society’s Award of Garden Merit. Beautiful addition to your cottage garden or mixed border. Would do well in a pot for a pop of color to your garden or patio. Attracts butterflies and is deer resistant. Trim spent stems & blooms to promote more flowering and enjoy the green foliage into winter where winters are more mild. All dianthus are heat tolerant and low maintenance beauties, growing in zones 5-9. This variety is small and compact reaching 10 inches tall, plant 12 inches apart with other varieties! Plant in full sun and enjoy blooms from late spring to late summer.

The plant arrived in very good condition and I planted it in a large pot near our walkway. It immediately began to grow and is now covered in pink blossoms. We are so pleased with the result!
