While it certainly won't be frost proof in area colder than zone 7, the Frost Proof Gardenia (Gardenia jasminoides 'Frost Proof') won't drop its flower buds just because there's been a late frost. That's great news for gardeners who love the heavenly scent of Gardenias and the sight of their gorgeous white blooms. Of course, the glossy green leaves of Gardenias are pretty too, but there's no denying that their scented flowers are the main attraction. But the Frost Proof Gardenia has one more trick up its sleeve, instead of being finicky like its 'trad' cousins, it's tough and easy-going.
Arrived looking great! Unfortunately it’s turned off cold here and I haven’t been able to plant it yet! I’ve been watering it and taking it outside for sunlight as weather permits. So far, very happy with my purchase.
Plant was 90% dead, but there is growth at the bottom, we think it will make it !!

I ordered two Gardina plants back in February, never recieved them, I'm in zone 10 or 11, they said by March 1st.
Hi Patricia! We did begin shipping orders on March 1st. We do ship all of our pre-orders in the order they were received and had roughly 500 pre-orders placed ahead of your order placed the day before we resumed shipping. Your order is set to ship your way by tomorrow afternoon though and once it is you'll get an email with the tracking information so you can follow your gardenias movements all the way home! :) If there is ever a question or concern feel free to reach out to hello@thegreenhousepnw.com!
I knew it would be small BUT all small plants grow up! EVERYTHING at The Greenhouse have been very healthy & packed SO WELL! For online nurseries, The Greenhouse is the ONLY PLACE I WILL ORDER FROM......Customer Support/Service is incredible! Love this place!
Simply too expensive for a plant that was just six inches tall.

Plant was very well packed. In great shape when I received it. Great planting instructions. Communication excellent. Will buy again
Arrived in perfect shape. Very healthy plant. I have given it some time to get use to the weather. Seems to like it here and will be planting it today per your instructions. thank you and will be ordering from you very soon.
I’m excited for my gardenia plant . Most things do not live for me ! This plant even has a bud! I would definitely buy again but
