BAREROOT ROSES ARE NOW SHIPPING

Honey Dijon is a grandiflora rose with large golden to tan honey blooms. Buds start out brighter honey with a pink tinge on the outermost petals and then open up to a soft tan color, fading with age. Unique, timeless and beautiful rose addition to your garden color palette.

26 to 40 petals with average diameter 4.25"

Grows 4-5 ft tall 3 ft wide

Zones 6-9

Full sun

Blooms throughout summer

This unique tan Grandiflora is the love-child of Stainless Steel and Singin' in the Rain

These roses are shipped as #1 grade bare root. These are NOT shipped in a pot with soil. Roses will arrive with canes pruned and bare roots ready to be planted right away.

How to plan for your bare root rose arrival...

We typically plant our bare roots with the grafted node or bud union just below the surface of the soil, about two inches. There are different views on planting bare roots roses, but this way works best for us so that the graft is protected underground from harsh winters, winds and I've read that the grafted rose could potentially grow it's own roots if they are just below ground level.

To plant a bare root rose first decide on placement in your garden by finding a location that gets at least 4-6 hours a day of sunlight. Afternoon shade might be good in hot climates. Make sure the spot you pick isn't too close to a tree or other large shrub that would be competing.

When you receive your rose you'll want to unpack it and let the roots sit in a bucket of water for a couple hours. While they are drinking up dig a hole twice as big as the roots (about a foot and a half round and loosen up the soil at the bottom so the roots can easily penetrate as they grow.  Create a mound of soil at the bottom to support the roots and add compost manure if you have any. Back fill the hole with soil and firm down with your boot or back of the shovel. Water in and add more soil if needed.

Shipping Methods

Orders will be shipped via FedEx Home Delivery.

Orders are generally in route for 2-5 business days (depending on where you live).

We are sticklers about packaging and shipping your order in a way that guarantees healthy plants upon arrival. If plants are damaged on arrival, just let us know and we'll send you new ones or offer a full refund.

All of our plants are container grown and shipped with the soil and roots fully intact. We DO NOT ship your plants bare-root. Being shipped as a containered plant greatly reduces the risk of the plant not surviving the transit to your home.

My mustard rose

It came in great condition. Planted them and leaves sprouting everywhere. No flower yet but I have searched high and low for this color, so will be very excited to see it come alive! Thank you.

Now a loyal customer - excellent purchase

I purchased Honey Dijon, Koko Loco, Distant Drums and Love Song. You can tell the roses were grown with such care and intention. No damage, the canes are thick, healthy, and consistent. Out of all the places I purchased bare roots from this year, I am most excited about yours. Packaging and customer service were also incredible, and thoughtful. I will definitely be a repeat customer in the future.
