    DESCRIPTION

Glory is a standout French hybrid lilac renowned for its rich, deep violet‑purple flowers and strong, classic fragrance. In mid‑spring, it produces large, upright panicles filled with single florets that open in vibrant, saturated color and emit an intense, sweet scent that defines the lilac season. These showy blooms are excellent for cutting and bring robust spring color and perfume to the landscape.

This upright, deciduous shrub grows 8 to 10 feet tall and 6 to 8 feet wide, developing a full, well‑branched form over time. Like other Syringa vulgaris cultivars, it thrives in full sun and well‑drained soil, and it benefits from pruning immediately after flowering to encourage strong bloom the following year. Cold‑hardy and long‑lasting once established, Glory makes a striking hedge, specimen, or border plant.

    Key Features:

    • Deep violet‑purple single blooms with strong fragrance

    • Mid‑spring flowering

    • Excellent for cutting, hedges, and borders

    • Cold‑hardy and dependable

Glory Lilac offers bold, classic color and unforgettable scent—an ideal choice for gardeners seeking a traditional lilac that stands out in the spring garden.

I was thrilled to finally receive a shrub of good quality. It's planted. Now to wait for the first blooms, hopefully next spring.

    Lilac Glory

This Lilac Glory is a replacement for one that arrived in poor condition. The quick, curteous response was very much appreciated. I was immediately offered a replacement with no questioned asked. My replacement plant arrived in excellent condition and is even now in the ground. I look forward to growth and development of my new Lilac Glory.
