    DESCRIPTION

Sageleaf Rockrose (Cistus salviifolius 'Prostratus' ) is a low growing evergreen shrub with a profusion of delicate white flowers every spring. This variety of rock rose grows lower reaching only 2ft tall and spreading 6-8ft. Blooming in spring these white paper like flowers bloom on top of foliage that resembles sage leaves. Blooms are about 1 1/2 inches wide with yellow centers. Like all rock roses this variety as well is wonderful for drought tolerant landscapes and is very cold hardy. Because of its low growing and spreading habit Cistus salviifolius 'Prostratus' would be wonderful for securing sloped areas and is drought tolerant. Very low maintenance. Plant in full sun and water occasionally.

This white rock rose would be a beautiful ground cover along a path, slope or lovely addition to your flowering border. Deer resistant and attracts butterflies, this evergreen shrub is a winner all around!

    Sunset Rock Rose

This is a review for the sunset rock rose which I cannot find on the site anymore. I bought two large plants. They arrived in good condition but have not survived. Almost all leaves are completely brown. Not sure what happened as I put them in a nice sunny spot and watered them occasionally I also ordered white rock rose and those are doing well....

    Disappointed

Very excited to send my mother in law this for Mother’s day as it resembles a pyrethrum that we grow in Kenya. However, it arrived almost dead. She is trying to keep it alive and has planted it as instructed. We are hoping that it comes back to life.
