DESCRIPTION

White Rock Rose, Cistus corbariensis, is a beautiful evergreen shrub that would be a lovely addition to any garden especially those in draught tolerant landscapes. It's hardy nature and robust gray-green foliage mounds over rocky slopes and other places with extreme conditions for year round interest. Spring brings on an abundant amount of paper white blooms with yellow centers that last well into summer. Feel free to use this plant in your more formal garden beds to create an evergreen hedge in winter and add white blooms all spring and summer. Grows in zones 8-10 in a flattering round shrub shape. Low maintenance and does very well growing in coastal climates.

Confused

The plant arrived in great shape. I confused this plant with a rock garden plant. I now have a plant suitable for zone 8, but I live in zone 5 near Niagara Falls, Ny. I wish there would have been an alert about plant growing zones. I predict if I plant it, it will not make the winter.
