Little Princess Spirea, Spiraea japonica 'Little Princess', offers brilliant pink flower heads that nearly envelop its attractive bright green foliage in late spring. Blossoms last through summer and may continue longer with a little-dead heading of spent flowers. After flowers have gone, her foliage turns a lovely bronze for the fall season. Little Princess Spirea will grow 2- 4' tall and makes an exquisite border or foundation plant. She usually fills out to the ground and generally does not need any filler plants grown in front to look clean and perfect. Due to her very hardy nature, she can be planted in the sunny garden bed that gets little extra attention.

All of our plants are container grown and shipped with the soil and roots fully intact. We DO NOT ship your plants bare-root. Being shipped as a containered plant greatly reduces the risk of the plant not surviving the transit to your home.

Do you guarantee your plants?
Yes. If, in the rare case your plants are damaged upon arrival, just contact us within 7 days and a full refund or exchange will be issued for those plants.

The hardiness zones that each plant will grow in are listed in the plant details section. Please make sure that the plants are rated for the zone you live in. If you don't know what zone you are in, please check the zone map and zip code lookup tool above to find out.
If I order now, can I delay shipping for sometime in the future?
Sure. After placing your order, just send us an email with your order number and the date you would like your order delivered.
We promise to only send you healthy, well rooted plants. If, in the rare case your plants are damaged upon arrival, or you are not completely satisfied, contact us at hello@thegreenhousepnw.com within 30 days of receiving your order, and we’ll take care of it.
If your plant(s) were damaged on arrival, we will send out replacements to you immediately at no extra charge to you.
If that plant is no longer in stock, or you prefer to not receive a replacement, we will issue full refund for any damaged plants.
In some cases, we may simply request a photo of the damaged plant to verify condition of plant before we process replacement or refund.

'Little Princess' charming the masses!
The shrub came dormant a few days ago and was just breaking bud and in happy spirits when I planted her with my two "little princesses" today. The girls did a great job and I can't wait to see her lime green foliage pop against my black lace elderberry in a week or so!

Perfect plants
I live in the south and these plants are next to impossible to find this late in the year. The 5 plants arrived in a box delivered by FedEx and were in perfect shape. I followed the directions to the letter and with a little sun shade they are thriving. I would definitely order again.

Not evergreen
I bought 6 last year thinking they were evergreen. Not! They froze and I dug them up. Now I have to start over.

I'm so sorry if you were expecting them to be evergreen that must have been a shock. They do go dormant but they spring back to life in the spring time. I hope you found a beautiful place to plant them after digging them up. :)

Although I know most of the plants in the PNW are still hibernating, many of my plants are perking up starting to have green growth, but have not as yet.
