DESCRIPTION
Boxwood Green Beauty, Buxus microphylla 'japonica', can be easily transformed to fit just about any landscape. Without pruning it can grow upright to 6' and will remain somewhat compact in habit. With pruning or sheering mass plantings can be shaped into tidy individual shrubs or formed into a solid formal hedge. Its dense structure and dark green, glossy foliage make for a handsome privacy screen or splendid backdrop behind lower growing perennials. Plant a Boxwood Green Beauty hedge along a walkway or drive for an inviting presence. Be sure to leave the bottom of the shrub slightly larger for ample sun exposure and even foliage.
