Dianthus 'Pop Star' (Dianthus Double Star 'Pop Star') is quite literally double the fun with its pink pom-pom flowers that showcase maroon "eyes". Thick grass-like blue-green foliage gently spreads to form a mounding groundcover when planted in mass. Dianthus 'Pop Star' is just as happy when planted alone to fill in the space at the edge of a bed or nook-and-granny in the rock garden. It's a sturdy little plant that needs little help to look fabulous for a long season. But a quick dead heading of spent flowers will likely yield an even longer blooming season.
