    DESCRIPTION

‘Annabelle’ is a classic smooth hydrangea known for its enormous, rounded flower heads and dependable performance in a wide range of garden conditions. Blooming from early to mid-summer, this cultivar produces large, snowball-like clusters of pure white flowers that can reach up to 10 inches across. As the season progresses, the blooms often take on a soft green tint before fading, adding interest well into late summer.

This deciduous shrub grows 3 to 5 feet tall and wide, forming a rounded, bushy habit with strong stems that have been improved in modern selections to better support the weight of the blooms. Annabelle thrives in full sun to part shade and tolerates a variety of soils, making it a versatile choice for borders, mass plantings, or naturalized areas.

    Key Features:

    • Huge, globe-shaped white flower heads up to 10" wide

    • Blooms from early to late summer

    • Rounded habit: 3–5 ft. tall and wide

    • Prefers full sun to part shade

    • Tolerant of a range of soil conditions

    • Hardy in USDA Zones 3–9

    • Excellent for mass planting, hedging, or cutting gardens

‘Annabelle’ Hydrangea is a time-tested favorite, offering bold seasonal color, reliability, and adaptability in both formal and informal garden settings.

    Great packaging, great plants

Wasn't sure what to expect from a mail-order nursery, but the Annabelle Hydrangeas were really well-packaged and healthy when they arrived. We were pleased with the plants and the overall experience.
