DESCRIPTION
Woolly Thyme, Thymus pseudolanuginosus, gets its name for its hairy or 'woolly' appearance. Dense and lush, this groundcover adds a sense of warmth and fullness wherever it is used. Its violet flowers bloom in summer and will attract butterflies to the bed or border in full or part sun. Mounding and cascading in form, Wooly Thyme is an excellent choice for hillsides, rock gardens, containers and between pavers. Hardy in nature, it can tolerate dry spells, foot traffic and needs little extra attention after being established.
