DESCRIPTION

Waxleaf Privit, Ligustrum japonicum 'Texanum', is an evergreen that grows tall, but is compact in habit. It is most sought after for use in hedges and as privacy screens. The glossy green leaves give it a luxurious look while white flowers add to its beauty in spring and early summer. It can be sheared or pruned into nearly any shape, although that may reduce flowering. Waxleaf Privit 'Texanum' will grow rather quickly in full to part sun and requires little maintenance.
