Horned Pansy

Get a long-lasting color display with perennial Horned Pansies (Viola Etain). The blooms emerge pale, lemony-yellow, developing a distinctive contrasting purple edge that highlights each bloom to perfection. At its very best from spring to early summer, it will still bloom throughout the growing season, and may give you a final showy flush of blooms in fall. Violas don't like extremely hot positions, so if you are planning to take full advantage of this plant's ability to grow as a perennial, choose a cooler spot with light shade or shade for part of the day.
