DESCRIPTION
Bee Balm 'Jacob Cline' (Monarda didyma Jacob Cline) is a North American classic with tall stems bearing big, showy heads of crimson red flowers. It's at its best when planted in groups, and it's an absolute magnet for humming birds and butterflies who will find it as irresistible as you do. If you pick the first flowering stems, you'll be able to extend the eight-week bloom time a little, but leave the seed heads on to attract seed-eating birds. Leaving the old seed heads standing over winter adds interest to your garden until spring arrives again.
