DESCRIPTION
Rudbeckia hirta 'Becky Mix' is most widely known as Black-Eyed Susan. This time honored daisy-like perennial is a main staple in sunny gardens from coast to coast. The 'Becky Mix' cultivar boasts brilliant gold flowers with red centers that brighten garden beds and make colorful borders. As a late summer and fall bloomer, this native, wildflower relative is best grown with late spring blooming plants, evergreens and other colors of fall blooming perennials. Extensive root systems make it drought tolerant and an excellent choice for sloping conditions. Versatile and easy to care for, use Rudbeckia 'Becky Mix' almost anywhere, including containers or as part of a naturalized prairie setting.
