    DESCRIPTION

    Blue Sedge, Carex glauca, is used for its beautiful, soft, blue-green foliage. Diminutive mounds of distinctive color and texture will pop in the landscape wherever it is used. Try planting near lightly colored, upright shrubs and perennials to create the most dramatic effect. It is small in size compared to other ornamental grasses, and makes a great choice for nooks and crannies that need a splash of something beautiful. Blue Sedge, Carex glauca is also a great choice containers, water and rock gardens. When given full to part sun, it will need little extra care and is a deer resistant selection.
