Elfin Thyme, Thymus serpyllum 'Elfin', is a lush, low growing ground cover that has plenty to offer rock gardens, container plantings or a naturalized path. Deep, glossy green leaves are small and sturdy and can withstand light foot traffic for plantings between stepping stones. With a little patience and full to part sun, Elfin Thyme, Thymus serpullum fills in wonderfully and graces your garden with both color and fragrance. As an added delight this evergreen displays an abundance of lilac flowers during summer through early fall.
