DESCRIPTION
A touch of gold brightens up any garden, and Golden Sweet Flag (Acorus gramineus Oborozuki) lives up to its golden promise, flying its colors proudly. Although it may look like a clump-forming grass, this is actually a grass-like plant that carries tiny flowers followed by inconspicuous seed heads. The golden foliage has thin strips of green. Thriving in moist to wet soils, or even shallow water, it's a great choice for damp areas of the garden or even for pots sunk into water features or ponds to add a little drama to the setting. The foliage has a light, tangerine fragrance.
