DESCRIPTION

A pop of color in early spring, Heuchera Watermelon has bronze, green & peachy leaves with pink undersides. Starts out in this delicious watermelon hue (pictured) fading into a bronze peach later in the season. Heuchera watermelon will add color and texture to your shady spot! Grows in a tidy mound form, spreading a foot wide and flowering with small white bell shaped blooms in late spring/summer. Trim off any withered leaves to make way for new healthy growth. Heuchera prefer morning sun and afternoon shade. Would be lovely in a pot or sprinkled throughout your woodland garden and adding a pop of warmth to any shady spot.

Excellent and healthy Heucheras

Since last year I have been buying from The Greenhouse - and I keep doing that! Plants arrive well-packed and healthy. The Greenhouse compares with the best growers/shippers ‘on the ground’ and on-line. Among a number of orders only one plant did not arrive in great health, probably due to rough treatment during transport, and it was promptly replaced at no cost. Impressed.

Very nice plants

This was my first experience with The Greenhouse. I bought 2 carnival watermelon heuchera and 2 carmel Heuchera, all 1 gallon plants. They were pricey to say the least but then I had my gardener pick up 2 additional deep red huechera at a local nursery for half the cost. In comparing the size of the local plants against The Greenhouse plants, Greenhouse won hands down - probably twice the size even though they were all 1 gallon plants. Now planted, my Greenhouse plants have taken off while the 2 local stock plants remain small. While initially skeptical, I am very happy and will be a return customer.
