DESCRIPTION
Red Mountain Ice Plant (Delosperma dyeri Red Mountain), despite its chilly-sounding name, isa marvelously vigorous, low-growing succulent ground cover that just keeps flowering. At its best from late spring to early summer, it will nevertheless continue to bloom all year in warm climates, and will flower throughout the summer provided the weather isn't extremely hot. Beautiful pinky-red flowers sparkle in the sun, crowning the neat foliage to perfection. As for dry conditions, that's what these little beauties love best, but they're not fussy during the rainy season and won't curl up and die after a rainy spell.
