This hardy species can adapt to a wide arrange of soil conditions including wet ones along stream banks or fountain beds. With full to part sun Dwarf Blue Arctic Willow, Salix purpurea will grow into a loosely rounded shrub with whispery foliage that bristles in the wind. If a more formal look is desired, simply prune it back for a more compact appearance or topiary! Perfect for that tuscan inspired garden!
