    DESCRIPTION

Garden Sun is a tall, upright climbing rose known for its large, fragrant blooms and warm, sunset-inspired color palette. The flowers emerge in shades of golden yellow and soft apricot, often with a hint of pink as they mature, and are produced in generous clusters from late spring through fall. Each bloom is fully double and mildly to moderately fragrant, offering a lush, romantic appearance.

This vigorous climber can reach 10-12 feet tall with support, making it well-suited for arbors, trellises, fences, or tall pillars. Known as one of the best climbers due to its disease resistance and winter hardiness. Light pruning after the first bloom flush can encourage continued flowering.

    Key Features:

    • Large, double blooms in golden yellow, apricot, and pink tones

    • Light to moderate fragrance

    • Repeats flowering from late spring through fall

    • Tall climbing habit: 10-12 ft. with support

    • Good disease resistance for a climber

    • Ideal for arbors, trellises, and vertical garden features

    • Thrives in full sun and well-drained soil

Garden Sun brings height, warmth, and charm to the garden with its radiant color and reliable flowering habit.

    WHY CHOOSE OWN-ROOT ROSES?

Stronger, more resilient plants – Own-root roses are grown from cuttings, so they develop their own natural root system, resulting in better overall vigor and longevity.

True to type – Since they aren’t grafted, what you see is what you get—no risk of rootstock suckers overtaking the plant or altering bloom characteristics.

Better cold and disease resistance – Own-root roses recover more easily from winter damage and tend to be more resistant to pests, diseases, and transplant shock.

    Healthy arrival

Timing is everything: was worried about having enough time to establish good roots before my Zone 7 winter. Arrived in September on time; well packed and protected with all leaves and small branches healthy; unseasonably warm weather just after planting (with frequent watering) caused it to put on new growth and produce a single beautiful orange/yellow rose in October, letting me know this plant will do well. Looking forward to backing it with a trelace in the Spring
