DESCRIPTION

A spectacular tuft of arching green leaves already makes Japanese Silver Grass Malepartus (Miscanthus sinensis Malepartus) spectacular, but its best time is from midsummer onwards. That's when the regal plumes of pinkish flowers begin to appear in profusion, opening up into plumy, white seed heads that will add drama to your winter garden if you leave them in place. In fall, the foliage vie with the plumes to become star of the show as it turns to burgundy bronze and russet. These sturdy, resilient plants thrive in just about any soil and make a striking focal point in garden borders.

Arrived in great condition. Stayed on my porch a few days, watered and with indirect sun. Planted a few days ago in full sun along fence. Looking good so far.

Received plants very fast, wanted a specific variety and they were the only place I could find them. Super dense root system so I know they are going to be very happy in the ground.
