PLEASE NOTE: Plants shipped in early spring may arrive dormant. Deciduous perennials lose their leaves or foliage during winter and may appear "lifeless", but will burst out with new growth in spring!

  • is a deciduous shrub blooming in spring with wonderfully fragrant lavender purple double petals flowers that fade to a pinker hue. She is one of the oldest varieties introduced in 1922, a gardener's favorite. Plant lilacs in full sun for best blooms with a thick layer of mulch to keep roots cool, weeds out and hold moisture. Plant in well draining rich to neutral soils, doesn’t love acidic soil. Pollinators and hummingbirds will adore!

  • Shipping Methods

Orders will be shipped via FedEx Home Delivery.

Orders are generally in route for 2-5 business days (depending on where you live).

We are sticklers about packaging and shipping your order in a way that guarantees healthy plants upon arrival. If plants are damaged on arrival, just let us know and we'll send you new ones or offer a full refund.

All of our plants are container grown and shipped with the soil and roots fully intact. We DO NOT ship your plants bare-root. Being shipped as a containered plant greatly reduces the risk of the plant not surviving the transit to your home.

Looking good!

Plants have a very stressful trip to my house since we do not have mail delivery to the house nor do FEDEX and UPS deliver on weekends so there is always at least 2 extra days in 100° weather with no relief for them. After a couple of days with some TLC my lilac has started adding new growth! I am so excited to be able to watch it grow. I have learned I will need to water more since our humidity levels are usually under 10% year round, but someday I will do a drip system ... just want to make sure I have plants that need it first. I have placed my lilac in a full sun location, so I might need to consider some type of screening if it shows signs of stress next year. By full sun I mean it gets the sunrise to sunset sun. Not so bad except in the very dry heat of summer. Right now I have her in a space outlined by ever bearing strawberries in small white raised beds so I think when she starts to bloom in the future the colors will be awesome.
