DESCRIPTION
Little Fresco is a compact panicle hydrangea celebrated for its tidy size and richly layered flower clusters. Blooming from midsummer into fall, it produces dense, cone-shaped panicles that open creamy white, gradually transitioning to soft pink and rose as the season progresses—offering a multi-tonal display on a single plant.
This dwarf variety grows just 2 to 3 feet tall and wide, making it perfect for small gardens, patio containers, front borders, and foundation plantings. Despite its smaller stature, Little Fresco has strong stems that hold its blossoms upright, creating a neat, rounded form with minimal maintenance.
Hardy in USDA Zones 4-9, it blooms on new wood, so annual pruning in late winter or early spring won’t compromise flowering. It thrives in full sun to part shade and prefers well-drained soil.
