arrived well packed, healthy plants, good starters. I bought 3. They grew very well all summer and come to find out this spring, they all died over winter. I am in a borderline zone and hoped they would make it. Even though their guarantee does not specifically say it, they will not guarantee the plants for a year if you are not in the zones they list, so I am out of plants and out of the money because I was a half a state away 200-300 miles difference. Very disappointing

We are sorry that the pampas aren't hardy to your zone and they didn't survive your winter. We put the hardiness checker and ratings on each plant so people can be sure to select plats that will thrive in your area. We wish they were able survive in colder zones like yours but they are rated the way they are for a reason unfortunately. There are some faux pampas grasses like a raven grass that may be a good fit for your home that are rated to survive the winters where you live.
